2010 Las Olas Wine and Food Festival

Even though the recent 15th Annual Las Olas Wine & Food Festival (LOWFF) broke all previous attendance records of 2500 wine and food lovers, there were no long lines to wait in... plenty of food from the 67 restaurants and wine flowing freely at 45 wine tables. This year the festival sold out a week in advance making it one of the most desired tickets in town! Another huge success was some of the most popular chefs in South Florida paired with winemakers from around the country at four local restaurants -- Johnny V, Riverside Hotel, Timpano Chophouse and Martini Bar, and Tuscan Grill. Live music by The WEEDLINE, Pan Vibes, & DJ Jason Bogle. The Bombay Sapphire Lounge, Bonterra Vineyards VIP Reception, & Allied Ultra Lounge made this year unforgettable! To get involved with the 2011 festival please contact Paula Prendergast 954-524-4657 or pprendergast@lungfla.org Each block boasted something that is bound to keep patrons coming back year after year. The Bombay Sapphire lounge offered specialty cocktails and treated guests to a learning experience by allowing them to make their own Sapphire Collins -- the official festival drink. Nothing looked better on the boulevard than seeing pedestrians take to the street in an ambiance of white couches, VIP cabanas, and the festival signature Asian lanterns throughout the six blocks of Las Olas Boulevard. Special awards were handed out including, Best Food: 1st Place Winner, Hyatt Pier 66; 2nd Place Winner: Bonefish Grill; 3rd Place ...
